We clear windrows on our first pass. If the city plow blocks your driveway again afterwards, call us within 24 hours and we’ll come back to reopen it, so you always have street access to your property.

What’s included in Vyta’s Winter Maintenance?
Every time snow reaches 3 cm between November 15 and April 15, we clear your driveway (full width), front sidewalk and the path to your front door down to the pavement. We apply rock salt to icy surfaces and clear windrows on our first pass. Visits are unlimited, and one seasonal price covers the whole winter.
When does service start, and what triggers a visit?
The season runs from November 15 to April 15. We come out whenever 3 cm or more of snow builds up, as many times as winter needs.
How quickly can Vyta respond to a winter storm or heavy snowfall?
With Standard, your first visit is within 8 to 12 hours after the snow ends. With Premium, it’s within 4 to 6 hours, and by 7:00 AM after overnight snow. During long storms, we make a pass mid-storm to keep you accessible, then do a final cleanup once the snow ends.
What if the city plow blocks my driveway?
We clear windrows on our first pass. If the plow blocks your driveway again afterwards, call us within 24 hours of that visit and we’ll come back to reopen it.
How does pricing work?
You pay one seasonal price, based on the number of driveways. A mild winter doesn’t lower it, and a heavy one doesn’t raise it. There are no surcharges for big storms.
Can I customize my Winter Maintenance package?
Yes. Add any of these to cover your property’s needs: corner city sidewalk, back deck or patio, side path, or eco-friendly ice melt in place of rock salt.
