The Client Directed Home Care Invoicing (CDHCI) program is an Alberta Health Services (AHS) initiative that gives eligible individuals greater choice and control over their home care. Through CDHCI, you can choose an approved provider while your care is funded through Alberta Blue Cross.

The Client Directed Home Care Invoicing (CDHCI) program is available to Albertans who need ongoing home-care support and want more choice in how it is delivered. You must be assessed and approved by Alberta Health Services (AHS), and services are funded through Alberta Blue Cross.
Must reside in Alberta and have a valid health care card
Must complete a home care assessment carried out by Alberta Health Services (AHS)
Must have a predictable and consistent level of need for home care services
